It's Official! We Are Now One Year Old!

Wow! Its been a whirlwind week packed with some pretty spectacular special anniversary events. There's been lots of laughs, a few glitches, and some tears as well. In short, its been amazing. And...if you can handle it, there's more to come with a whole roster of events scheduled for tomorrow, the 17th, the actual date of our anniversary.

So many of you have sent me your congratulations over the past week. I am grateful for all of them. That being said, most of you know that it is a big team that runs Dominion, of which I am only a part. Our staff are fantastic, hardworking, and dedicated people who sincerely care about maintaining a great environment. I can say without hesitation that they are the most amazing group I've had the pleasure of knowing in this world or any other. Every compliment, every accomplishment, I share with them. Without them, well, I'm screwed : )

My gratitude continues past our staff to our smart, gorgeous, funny, and dedicated Ladies of The Dominion, our fantastic Dominion Mistresses and wonderful subs and slaves. I am lucky that so many of you have chosen to make Dominion home.

When I was thinking about how we would celebrate our one year anniversary, I had planned a long blog post about the friends who've come and gone and the struggles and triumphs we've had over this past year. But as I sit here tonight after our one year party, all I can think about is tomorrow and what's next.

I think this is a great testament to the vibrancy of our community. Many of you have come to me with ideas or or have volunteered your time to run programs or activites. We have so many things in the works, and other fantastic projects that we want to maintain and expand, it feels like the possibilities are endless.. I am so ready to see what our next year holds. Bring it on.

In closing, I would just like to say that it has been a magical, surprisng, wonderful year. I never could have anticipated what we have become together: a real community, sharing so much of our lives here together in this virtual world. Truly, it's been a joy and an honour.
