And So The Month Comes To An End....

When October started I set out to pay homage to some of my friends. My profile picks are mostly used up promoting The Dominion, so I don't have a spot to show my love and appreciation to so many of the wonderful people I've met over the last year. I've managed to do a number of posts about some of my friends, but as I suspected, the month has drawn to a close and there are so many people who I have not yet mentioned.

I have so much I want to say about so many people here at Dominion, but time and space is against me. However, I would like to say a few brief words about some of my friends who've gone unmentioned so far, but please don't think that fewer words equates less love or respect. Every word is meant sincerely.

I'll start with some of my oldest and dearest friends, Lady Christy and her boy Epi, who have been cheering me on and supporting me long before Dominion. I know that they don't always agree with everything I do here, but they have never failed to show me their love and support. They are two of the sweetest, most sincere people you could ever hope to meet. To know them is to love them. They'll never know how much their support meant to me when we were starting out. On those days I felt alone, Epi would show up with his bucket, or Lady Christy would send me an IM saying, "I love you sister!". It meant the world to me.

MadamA and Heart are who I like to call my 'old war buddies'. I'll spare you the details, but suffice to say the three of us went to hell and back together in what seems like another life. I'll never forget those late nights sitting at a desk with MadamA, filling out reports and strategizing, while Heart slipped in and out running errands for hys mistress. You get to know people very well when you see them under pressure and the three of us formed a bond that can't be broken or forgotten. They have my love, support, and loyalty always.

Lady Joie has been at Dominion the best part of a year. She came in with a crowd of people who have all moved on for various reasons, yet Joie remained and made Dominion home. Over time I've gotten to know Joie and seen her in action. In one word, she is all about control. Perfectly turned out, never losing her temper, making sure that all of her projects meet her standards of excellence, no detail is too small for her attention. She has worked so hard here, helping out new ladies and boys, giving god knows how many makeovers, sending people little gifts, taking amazing photos, and always offering to help if needed. She can be a little reserved and to be frank I think it took a while for her to really let some of us in. But I know she sincerely and openheartedly loves her family here. In return, myself and many others have grown to love her for her kindness, her thoughtfulness, and her sincere dedication. One of my favourite moments with Joie is hearing her voice as she tp'd in to a staff meeting. She was visiting her boy Tommy in real life for the first time and her voice was filled with joy and love. I actually had tears in my eyes hearing her. I felt a big burst of love and happiness for her. I got to see Joie a little uncontrolled, reveling in her joy. It was pretty wonderful. She's pretty wonderful.

Now, I have to admit, I can't recall meeting Zarita for the first time. She was on my radar as 'one of the aussies', and seemed nice enough, however I didn't really get to know her until she had been hanging out here a month or two. We were doing a photo shoot for FEMDOM Magazine on famous women. It was the 11th hour and I needed an Amelia Earhardt. Well, those aussies are up at odd hours, so luckily I was able to recruit Zarita. She was fun, and easy going. Over time Zarita has become a legend at Dominion, one of those people everyone talks about when she isn't around. "Zarita would do this...", or "Zarita would say that..". People have called her a force of nature and if you've seen one of her 'Spontaneous Combustion' events, you'd agree. Now Zarita is pretty hardcore and has her detractors. I'd say for the most part, people don't get her sense of humour and playfulness. I for one love her. Not just for all of the fun she brings here (and no one brings the fun like Zarita), but for her intellect and her big heart. She was a driving force behind my surprise party, which will go down as one of my favourite days in any world ever. She is unflinchingly dedicated to her friends, has incredibly high standards of decency and loyalty, and when she loves you, you can feel it. How amazing is that? On my short list of favourite people ever.

For the longest time, I didn't even realize I had met Syriana before. Long before Dominion, my partner Maz and I had a small plot of land for a cafe. We had decided to hire a DJ for the event and were a little unsure as to how to go about it. Maz somehow came across Syriana's name and got in touch with her. When he inquired about her rates, Syriana said something to the effect of, "I don't think you can afford me". Her rates seemed pretty high (for us anyways, with our little plot of land), but Maz kind of took that as a challenge and hired her. She was a great DJ and our little party was a success. Months later Syriana reminded me of this event while we were sitting in the conversation circle. We both laughed...who knew we were both into Femdom or that we would end up together here? SL really is a small world. Syriana has been a little miracle here, stepping in first to help as a DJ and then as a mentor, mediator, Discussion Group hostess, and much more. She is our soft place to fall, our open arms, our kind heart here at Dominion. Always taking the time to ask how you are doing, always offering to help, always full of fun and joy and positivity, it is impossible NOT to love Syriana! You have no other choice.

Oh Ravanys, Ravanys, a deadly combination of sophistication and madcap humour. She's a little mysterious, a little reserved, also very controlled, yet fun, sweet, loyal and dedicated. Famous for her house raids, her jetski adventures, and of course, for Femdom Confessions. Boys and girls, have been known to fall in love upon meeting her. She's had odes written to her and you can imagine her as one of those women in history over whom men fought wars or launched a thousand ships. She is old fashioned yet thoroughly modern. She's not the squishy, huggy type, and hey, neither am I, but I love her and she knows it. No matter how busy her RL gets, she has a place to call home here. She belongs to us.

Maisy was a legend before she even came to Dominion, with Madeleine and I marveling how she was the only woman who ever owned a wily and unpredictable sub by the name of Geo. She has more joy for life that just about anyone I know, always ready to laugh, or settle in and enjoy a drink and a chat at the conversation circle. Many people put 'no drama' in their profiles, but Maisy really means it. She won't say anything that she wouldn't say to your face and you'll certainly never hear her bitch and moan about anything more than her RL boy not getting her tea fast enough. She's a straight shooter with a kind and considerate heart, who's always offered her help and support. Whether she's ordering around her RL boy or thinking up another way to torture Russell, you always get the impression she is having way more fun than anyone in the room, and thats because she probably is.

I could go on and on about so many people I love, like Jeanette...here from the early days, calm, cool, with a big heart and a killer sense of humour. Janice, uber talented and equally modest, she has a sense of excellence that is masked by her laid back attitude. Sophie, a little Grace Kelley, all sophistication and proper decorum, with a devilishly loveable naughty side. Carla, a true original who's stuck by me as my friend, even though its not always been easy for her to do so. Sweet Cat, with her warm honeyed voice and kind heart, a beautiful woman who deserves more praise and kudos than I can possibly give here. Medussa, a woman I loved almost immediately, who always laughed at my silly jokes and liked me for some crazy reason, she broke my heart when she left SL. Some people you just love immediately and she was one of them. Pammy, one of my dearest friends who I love and trust completely. She is smarter than just about anyone I know, with a killer wit and a kind heart...her skill as a humiliatrix is legendary and never comes from a place of anger or aggression. I've never seen her be mean to anyone.

Oh and the boys. All of our Liaisons are so amazing...Tommy, kind and dedicated who's always been so sweet and respectful and always offers to help. Russell..smart, super talented, and always ready to take a fall if it means entertaining the ladies. David, gentle and loveable, with an unshakeable loyalty, he's been easy to grow fond of. Kael and Cole, Rav's boys, both excellent and talented in their own ways, both so kind and supportive. Maddox, funny, sweet, and so devoted to his mistress, I have this distinct impression nothing escapes his notice. Wolf, Lady Eloise's official escort and biggest fan, an old fashion guy who's eager to support and lend a hand when he can. All of them, spectacular men, who share an impressive trait, their dedication to their Ladies. And nothing is more wonderful to see than that. It's an honour to call them friends.

Gregie, my dear friend and assistant, who helps me every day with little tasks, errands, photos, tps, endless things that make my life so much easier. Smart and funny with his own little fan club, he has been unwaivering in his loyalty and support. He is not formally collared to me, but yeah, he's mine and everyone knows it. Thank you Gregie, for your hard work, your dedication, and your kindness.

My boy Van. He has a pick in my profile. I mean every word of it.

I know I've not included so many of you who mean so much to me. Please forgive me. I hope in my own way, in time, I can thank all of you for your love and support. You all mean the world to me. I'm going to close my eyes and make a wish that you are all here with me next year at this time. Here's hoping wishes come true.
