Today Is The Day!

Two years ago today Dominion opened its doors with a grand Masquerade Ball and charity auction in support of breast cancer research. So much has happened since that day. People have come and gone, we've seen friends through hard and happy times, we've laughed together and grieved together. We've lived life together. I'm grateful that so many of you have stuck around for the good times and the bad times. It's made our friendships and our community deeper and richer. I've seen real love here, in words and in deeds. It's been an amazing experience. You've all taken a strange and virtual world and spanned the distances between us to make something I never could have imagined.

Over the course of our celebrations people have been thanking and congratulating me, when really, its me who should be thanking you. It's not the prims I've assembled that have made our community what it is. Its your hearts and souls, your personalities, your laughter, that has made it come alive. I know of no other community anywhere that is so rich and diverse with so many dedicated members. There are far too many of you to thank individually. So instead I say to all of you, thank you. The fact that Dominion is thriving and vibrant is because of you, and I am forever indebted to you because of it.

If you haven't had a chance to come by and celebrate with us yet, I hope you will join us for today's discussion and concert. Thank you to everyone who has hosted or assisted with an anniversary event. You've truly made it a time to remember.

I hope to see you all at next year's anniversary, and all the days in between.

Love,

Eva
