Chocolate's a pretty universal love, so I decided to find some delicious but relatively easy recipes to utilise it, and hopefully motivate you to give it a try.

Chocolate Truffles-
Equipment-
Glass bowl
Saucepan
Spatula
Teaspoon/ Melon Baller
Baking Paper
Ingredients-
250 grams Good Dark Chocolate
250 ml Double Cream
50 grams Butter
Cocoa Powder
Flavourings (Vanilla pods, alcohol, orange, whatever.)
This is basically a ganache recipe, and can be used for many things other than truffles!
Chocolate cake-
Equipment-
Mixing Bowl
Cake tins (20cm / 8inch for these quantities)
Baking paper
Wooden spoon
Spatula
Ingredients-
225g/8oz plain flour
350g/12½oz caster sugar
85g/3oz cocoa powder
1½ tsp baking powder
1½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
2 free-range eggs
250ml/9fl oz milk
125ml/4½fl oz vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
250ml/9fl oz boiling water
Can use butter to replace the vegetable oil. Preheat oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4. 25-35 minutes rough cooking time. Use Ganache to top!
