WHAT IS IT?
---------------------------------
A fun way to make a promise or make a wish to be auctioned to Dominion members for gratification and fulfillment!
Lots will be accepted from NOW through Friday October 24. More about how to submit lots, below.
Next, silent bidding will open on Sunday October 26 and close with all the bells ringing on Halloween, Friday October 31.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Anyone can submit a lot, and anyone can bid and win!
To submit a lot, you fill out a simple notecard and give it to Owen (Mouse Moonwall) on or before Oct 24, 2 PM SLT. Notecards are available below.
Bidding will occur on a special board in a special spot in the Courtyard. Opening bid of $250 just like our regular auctions, with increments of $50L after that. Highest bidder wins. Only the winning bid will be kept as a donation, all other bids returned.

WHAT IS A "WISH" AUCTION LOT?

"WISH" auction lots express one or more of the following:
I have an... Ambition, Aim, Enterprise, Dream, Plan, Hope, Purpose, Intention, Longing, Need, Prayer, Request, Yearning, Hankering, Itch, Pleasure, Thirst, Urge, Want, Whim, Appetite.
Examples:
"I have a request for a scripter."
"I have a yearning to go on ONE perfect SL date."
"I have a hankering to DJ a two-hour long dance party."
"I want someone to lead the Black & Blue Munch once in Feb."
"I have an urge to take someone into my dungeon for a night."
"I have a prayer that someone will donate meaningfully to the International Planned Parenthood Association."
To enter a "WISH" lot, just fill out this notecard and return it to Owen (Mouse Moonwall), on or before October 24, 2 PM:

WHAT IF I WIN A "WISH" LOT?

Congratulations! YOU WIN THE CHANCE TO GRANT THE WISH!
You don’t have to grant the wish yourself. Maybe you know a guy who knows a guy. You will work out how to satisfy the wish: in what timeframe (WITHIN 30 DAYS), by what criteria, etc.
As is usual for Dominion auctions, failure to fulfill the auction terms can be reported to our auction referee (Miss Evangeline Eames) for review.

WHAT IS A "PROMISE" AUCTION LOT?

"PROMISE" auction lots express one or more of the following:
I do solemnly... Promise, Pledge, Swear, Agree, Vow, Give My Word...
Brief examples:
"I do solemnly swear to be your scripter for a project."
"I promise to take you out dancing. On a leash."
"I agree to take you on 2 hours of sim exploration."
"I give my word that I will keep you in full chastity."
"I promise to donate $50 USD to the charity of your choice."
"I pledge to roleplay a fantasy with you in-world, for up to 6 hours."
To enter a "PROMISE" lot, just fill out this notecard and return it to Owen (Mouse Moonwall), on or before October 24, 2 PM:

WHAT IF I WIN A "PROMISE" LOT?

Congratulations! A PROMISE HAS BEEN MADE TO YOU!
The maker of the promise will work with you to keep that promise. You two can decide in what timeframe (WITHIN 30 DAYS), by what criteria, etc.

DEADLINE FOR AUCTION LOT ENTRIES IS OCTOBER 24, 2 PM SLT.
To enter a "WISH" lot or a "PROMISE" lot, contact Owen (Mouse Moonwall) or look for the info sign in the courtyard.
Lots will be accepted from Friday October 17 to Friday October 24.
Next, silent bidding will open on Sunday October 26 and close with all the bells ringing on Halloween, Friday October 31.
